Battery documentation when selling your Tesla
Make the information you can document easy to find before the viewing.
Prepare the vehicle information
Check the model, year, mileage and equipment. Gather maintenance records and explain any known faults or warnings. The battery report supplements this material; it does not replace your own description of the car.
Read the report before sharing it
Check the vehicle identity, date, sources and any notes about missing data or alerts. A historical event and an active warning are different findings. Ask us about a report entry you do not understand before presenting it to a buyer.
An example for your listing
“A dated Batteribevis report is available with battery readings and the car’s reported alert status. Please see the report for its date, data sources and limitations.” Adapt the description to the actual report rather than promising a fault-free battery.
Share the PDF or report link
The buyer does not need an account to open a valid shared link. Anyone with the link can view the report, including the full VIN. You choose where to share it and can disable the link later. Copies of a PDF already shared cannot be recalled.
