Vehicle data, for your sale
We access vehicle information after you authorise access through Tesla.

Account and vehicle information
We store your Tesla account identifier, encrypted access tokens and an essential cookie that remembers your login for up to 30 days or until you log out. We do not request your name, email or the car’s ongoing location through Tesla login. Your Tesla password stays with Tesla.
Report data includes the VIN, vehicle information, technical readings and alerts, with sources and timestamps. We also identify missing readings. Charging patterns and the charge limit use available data from the last 30 days; Toolbox readings use logs within the period you authorised. The report states the actual recorded period.
Tesla groups charging history and charging control in one permission. The history response may contain charging locations, amounts and other cars on the account. We do not store the raw response or share it in the report, and we do not use the permission to start or stop charging.
Payment and email
Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd. handles card payment through a form on our site. Card details go directly to Stripe and are not stored by us. We store order amounts, payment references, status and when you accepted the terms. We do not send the VIN or vehicle readings to Stripe.
Resend sends the purchase confirmation and completed report. Your email address is encrypted in our delivery queue. Resend receives the address and email content. The purchase confirmation includes the order, amount and delivery status. The report email includes its PDF, VIN, readings and shared link. Report delivery content and links are encrypted at rest in our system. Open and click tracking should be disabled. Free test orders do not collect card details.
Your chosen purchase language is stored with the order so its terms, delivery messages and report use the same language. An essential, short-lived cookie carries your language choice through Tesla sign-in and is deleted when sign-in finishes.
How customers find us
After confirmed payment, you may optionally tell us how you found Batteribevis. We store one choice and response timestamp per order, without free text or additional cookies. We use aggregate order and revenue totals by source. Unanswered orders are counted as unknown. The answer does not affect payment or delivery, and you can change it on the order page or ask us to delete it. It is stored with the order and is not shared with Google. Google Search Console provides aggregate search visibility data; it does not connect a specific query to your purchase.
Visit statistics
We count views per public page and day, and on the sign-in page we count the selected package and whether ordering was closed. For shared report links we count openings and the latest opening time, not who opened them. Automated previews and the owner’s own views are excluded where possible. These statistics do not store IP addresses, visitor identifiers, cookies or URL query contents. We respect the browser’s Do Not Track setting.
Cookies and optional measurement
Essential cookies support sign-in, security and your preferences. Your email in the order form is temporarily remembered in this tab’s session storage. We do not use sign-in or order email addresses for advertising audiences or marketing emails.
Optional tools only load after you actively agree. Analytics and marketing have separate choices, initially off. Refusing does not affect ordering or reports. You can withdraw consent here at any time; this stops future tracking and removes the provider cookies we can access in your browser. Withdrawal does not undo previously lawful processing. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control turn off optional tracking.
We remember your choice for 180 days in the essential batteribevis_privacy cookie. A separate batteribevis_privacy_block cookie prevents tracking if saving fails. Consent evidence stores a hash of a random browser token, choices, language, policy version and timestamps in Neon, separately from your account and vehicle. Older evidence is deleted after one year during subsequent consent processing.
Currently, no optional analytics or advertising provider is enabled. Our existing aggregate page counts do not use visitor identifiers.
Sharing
Each completed report includes a shared link and PDF. Anyone with an active link can read the report without signing in, including the full VIN. Links are intended to last 90 days. You can disable a link, but a PDF already sent to someone cannot be recalled through the service.
Retention and deletion
We retain report data for up to 5 years as documentation for vehicle sales. Payment records are stored separately.
Disconnect Tesla in your account to stop ongoing collection and delete the stored access tokens. Removal of vehicle data streaming is followed up separately, with a visible status. Reports and purchase confirmations are retained. You can also manage the permission directly with Tesla. Contact matias@kleda.co to request access or deletion. Providers and your rights
Vercel runs the website and collection jobs. Neon stores account links, reports and jobs. Tesla provides vehicle information, Stripe handles payments and Resend sends email. We use the collection to fulfil the order you authorised. You can complain about our processing of personal information to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (Datatilsynet).
